Chanel Vyent was born and raised in the Netherlands with Surinamese roots and was only 5 years old when she discovered her desire to connect through movement with her surroundings.
She pursued her dream and graduated from the Amsterdam University of the Arts’ UC/JMD. After graduating she has worked with diverse choreographers & companies and is currently dancing with the Hofesh Shechter Dance Company.
Finding her voice through dancing has manifested many different colors and qualities she inspires to use in all her creative collaborations.
She feels at home in her body when she dances and would love to share this essence through her work with the rest of the world in the hope it will inspire others to connect with their own flow from within.
