Once described by one of her early dance teachers as a ‘wildflower’, Shynna still likes to think of herself in the mind of that metaphor. Pretty but pointy, and with definitive means to grow wherever she likes. Shynna has been dancing for most of her life, she finally graduated in 2021 from ArtEZ after an internship year at Ballet National de Marseille under the direction of (LA)HORDE. Here she finalized her studies at PNSD Rosella Hightower, but she started to indulge in the life and work of the fashion industry as well.

After her graduation, she dived into the freelance waters. Now she balances her work between being on stage, and on the catwalk as well as creating as a dance-maker. Shynna likes to find a sense of nuance and balance in all things around her. She likes to be in the moment, however, is very melancholic and tends to take inspiration in ‘what was’ and has a large interest in the history of art and body standards.
