Born in Minsk, Belarus, Sophia considers dance to be her shelter, her source of power, and her feeling of sense. Starting at the age of 8 with electro dance, she continued developing her way of moving learning hip-hop, and house, and later on continuing with experimental and contemporary techniques.

 

Studying hip-hop dance in Åsa Folkhögskola hugely influenced the way she perceives dance culture and the truth one can bring to light through dance.

 

She is inspired by the sincerity and vulnerability of nature, people, and their expressions.
